Nick Chubb Continues to Choose Xenith as Brand Ambassador
Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb first tried on a Xenith helmet early in his high school career. He was having problems with his helmet getting pulled off during games, so his head coach, Scott Hendrix, fit him in a Xenith. The helmet's adaptive fit and shock matrix was the perfect remedy - and Chubb has chosen Xenith ever since.
Chubb will remain a Xenith Brand Ambassador and continue to wear his Xenith helmet this NFL season.
In high school, making the switch to Xenith allowed Nick to focus on his game and play with confidence finishing his high school career with over 6,000 rushing yards and 102 rushing touchdowns in his junior and senior year combined.
Nick’s football journey continued at the University of Georgia where he continued to rack up yardage and break records. His true freshman year he was second in SEC rushing yards despite only starting eight games. As Nick progressed through his college career, the show continued, reaching 13 consecutive 100 yard games, becoming second all-time in school rushing yards, and second in all-time SEC rushing yards.
In the 2018 NFL draft Nick was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round (35thoverall). He continued his record breaking ways in week four against the Oakland Raiders when he carried the ball for over 100 yards with two touchdowns on only three carries. Nick was the fourth player in NFL history to break 100 yards rushing on three or less carries. A few weeks later, Nick ran his way into Cleveland Browns’ history, breaking off a 92-yard rushing touchdown, the longest rushing touchdown in Cleveland Browns history. Nick finished his rookie year with 996 yards, four shy of the 1,000 mark.
Chubb and Xenith are also aligned in their efforts to give back to the community.
Born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia, NFL star running back Nick Chubb was instilled with the importance of community from an early age. That’s why when Nick transitioned from college to the NFL, he was compelled to give back to the community that raised him.
Nick partnered with Xenith to donate 65 Epic+ helmets to the Cedartown football team, giving back the same helmet that kept him in the game and allowed him to take the field with confidence for every step of his football journey.
